NetSquared Launches Technology Capacity-Building Effort to Assist Local Nonprofits

Decatur Digital Solutions to facilitate events in Decatur

NetSquared Decatur logoNetSquared, a program of the global nonprofit TechSoup, has reignited efforts to assist nonprofits with IT capacity building in Decatur. Initial programming consists of free information sessions for nonprofits, foundations and interested individuals. Sessions will take place at varying local organizations, with the first three events being hosted by Macon Resources, Inc. Online registration may be accessed at the links listed below.

NetSquared brings together nonprofits and activists, tech leaders and funders, and everyone who's interested in using technology for social change. It is a program of TechSoup, which connects nonprofits, foundations, and libraries with tech products, services, and learning resources.

“Helping non-profits to better understand technology and how to communicate their message is vital to their missions, as well as meeting the needs of our community,” said Jessica Michael, NetSquared Decatur community organizer and partner at Decatur Digital Solutions. “We look forward to learning and sharing with our local non-profit professionals at free events each month. We hope that more organizations like MRI will step up to host future events.”
